I’m Craig Miskin, and I believe the best training plan isn’t the one that makes you the fittest — it’s the one you can actually follow, week after week, within the life you actually have.

I’m not interested in short-term transformations that disappear by spring. I’m interested in evolution — quiet, consistent, compounding progress that survives the hard weeks and shows up on race day.

My Coaching Philosophy

My coaching isn’t built around ideal training weeks.

It’s built around real ones — where the kids get sick, work spills into the evening, and the long ride occasionally gets cut short because life had other plans.

Because for most athletes, performance doesn’t exist in isolation. It has to coexist with careers, relationships, family life, recovery, and everything else competing for your attention.

I know that tension well.

As a former Team GB Age-Group athlete, Ironman competitor, father of two young boys, and someone balancing coaching alongside a career outside of sport, I’ve experienced both the satisfaction of progression and the frustration of trying to force training into an already busy life.

That experience shapes how I coach.

I believe the athletes who improve year after year aren’t always the ones training the hardest. More often, they’re the ones with a structure flexible enough to absorb real life and keep moving forward consistently.

Because consistency beats intensity over time — every single time.

Coaching at CM Endurance is built around understanding your training, not blindly judging it. Together, we review what’s building fitness, what’s creating fatigue, and what needs to change before it costs you on race day.
